This year has been one for the books. It included a lot of firsts for businesses and individuals all around the world. Maybe you held your first virtual sales session or had to take an extended break from your business. We’ve all grown, made adjustments, and will continue to make changes into 2021 to adapt.
Those changes include updates to Zibster’s tools and services.

reCAPTCHA
Security is always one of our top priorities. With the rise of spam and bots crawling sites, we’ve taken additional measures to counter these cyberattacks by applying reCAPTCHA tools. These tools, when enabled, will protect you from unwanted messages in your mailbox and comments on your site. reCAPTCHA is free to use. 2,000 free emails each month
Zibster’s Email Marketing tool helps you create and send email campaigns to your leads and customers. With the growing need to connect with your customer lists, we expanded how many emails you can send for free each month to 2,000. Email marketing allows you to send branded messages to the contacts in your account and segment them with the use of tags. You can also track data about who opened, clicked, bounced, and unsubscribed.
Email marketing is a powerful way to connect with your customers. We encourage you to utilize email marketing and start next year with a powerful marketing plan!
Global branding settings
Adding your logo and company details to our products and tools is now easier than ever. Our new Branding settings allow you to set up your company information in one place and it connects to all your Zibster tools and products. You can still upload your logo to specific products if you like, but this feature automatically adds it everywhere. This helps streamline setting up your products so you don’t have to do it in multiple places.
Zibster Assistant
Another update we made to the Zibster control panel this year is the addition of our Zibster Assistant. You can find the Zibster Assistant in the bottom right corner of every page in the control panel. Just look for the orange circle with a question mark. When you click it, the Assistant slides out with details and how-to information for that specific area of the control panel, complete with video tutorials, articles, and a quick way to contact our support team.
Original Files & Additional File Storage options
We added two new premium features this year both to enhance your file upload options. Original Files allows you to upload your images to your Zibster account in their original size and share them with your clients. Once enabled, you can upload files up to 25MB each with any DPI and height or width dimensions. This is great for saving your original files as backups and sell directly to your customers. Original Files is only $10/month and can help you create and sell more online.

Have you surpassed 5,000 files in your account or do you shoot high volume and want to store it all online to share with your clients? Additional file storage options increased this year with new pricing. You can add as much file space as you need and adjust it along the way (Note: You must delete files before you can decrease your additional file space).
Original files and additional storage space are a great part of our Premium Features you can add to your account. These can be enabled in the Premium Features section of the control panel. To check out other features, log into your account and click the Premium Features icon (lower left).
Zibster Live Education & Website Reviews
To help our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic, we began helping new and existing customers learn more about our platform and online marketing through free Facebook Live videos.
During the last year, we’ve held weekly live events on how to build a website, set up proofing and ecommerce, and other topics like SEO misconceptions and tips. We focused on how easy it is to design with the Zibster website builder and how to make the products work for you.
We also introduced one of our most popular segments: Website Reviews. This bi-weekly event is an interactive segment where I take a look at customer’s websites and give them feedback and tips on how to improve their website to be a powerful sales tool and to improve visitors’ experiences. It’s been great talking to customers and hearing their wants and concerns. We plan to continue our Facebook Live content in 2021, providing more content and opportunities to watch, build together, and ask questions.
These are just some of the major highlights from 2020. It has been a hard year for many businesses. We understand. We hope you found these new features helpful and if you haven’t explored them yet, we encourage you to do so.
